Rev. Payton Hoegh out of Los Angeles addresses the topic "Nature, Spirituality, & Earth's Intersecting Systems of Healing and Wholeness." Please join us and urge others to join us. The zoom link to connect with on May 30 is https://us06web.zoom.us/j/82922157341. Remember please to check your local time, such as 10 AM Pacific Coast Time, 7 PM Central European Time, or 8 PM East AfricaTime.

The reverend will combine guided mindful practice and dialogue. In a world where intersecting crises - social, political, economic, and environmental - demand urgent care and attention, communities of faith hold a holy responsibility: to tend wellness and wholeness for all. Examining the spiritual foundations of this call reveals a thread of care rooted in right relationship with Earth and one another. Tracing this thread, exploring with reverence natural, life-giving systems continuously at work in the world, people of faith can see that ecological healing intersects with all issues of justice and provides a unifying structure for responding to the diverse needs of this crisis-touched time.

Rev. Payton Hoegh is Program Director of the Center for Spirituality in Nature and Chaplain for Disaster Resilience & Recovery in the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles. His work and ministry is rooted at the intersection of creative community building, contemplation, ecology, justice, and belonging. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Claremont School of Theology and is a certified California Naturalist.
