Host Guidelines - Global Climate Strike 9-25, and optionally 9-26

Please consider showing your concern about how we are neglecting the planet and ignoring the climate destruction. Organize a local strike as you see fit and then post here in your own words if you want with what, when, and where. You can belong to a group or not. Make signs and come together, as you respect social distancing.

Shoestrikes are one specifc possible approach to draw attention to climate change during the threatening corona virus times. Supporting a shoestrike will bring media attention and local public attention to that climate change has not gone away because the Corona virus dominates the news. Shoestrikes on climate are quite easy to organize and execute. You can have the local climate shoestrike on a street corner or a large public square. You can be one person with a few shoes and a sign or you can be some 6 to 8 people with many shoes and many signs. Do observe the social distancing. Work together and have fun. Remember you can have several strikes all over town to up the attention.

Whatever you do, make sure it strives to reach others to encourage more action and to show the utmost of concern.
