Host Guidelines - #1YearAfterMaria: We Take Action

Thanks for your choosing to support for Puerto Rico by hosting your own #1YearAfterMaria vigil or action!

Things you need to know:
- Your event should take place #1YearAfterMaria, Sept 20th, 2018

- Your event should include a vigil component, ideally at 8pm ET so we can all show solidarity for Puerto Rico simultaneously. There can also be an action or rally, but we are encouraging folks to at minimum include a vigil, if possible.

- We'll provide you with template toolkit, social media copy, and digital and print graphics for your event - check out 1YearAfterMaria.com each week for new content!

The shorter and more descriptive, the better.
Virtual events do not require a location, but virtual events with a location will appear on the event campaign map. (Those without a location will appear in search results only.) At least a ZIP/postal code is required for map placement for virtual events.
