The horrors of the war in Ukraine that we are all witnessing caused a lot of people to think about helping in the Ukraine Relief Effort.

My longtime Battery Park City neighbor and friend, Igor, was born in Kyiv, Ukraine and still has family and friends living in Kyiv now. Together Igor and I are organizing an event in support of Ukraine this Friday, 3/4/2022 at 6:00pm - 7:30pm EST. We will hear from speakers like Andrij Dobriansky, representative of the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America and others. We are inviting Battery Park City neighbors as well as all New Yorker’s to come to learn more and show your support for the people of Ukraine.
