(Mostly, we’re just terrified about jumping off the bridge. But just because things are a bit scary and a bit tricky, doesn’t mean we stop trying. Let’s persist and do the scary things like stopping the climate crisis together…)

What is Rosebank?

~ Rosebank is the biggest undeveloped oil field in the UK. It’s owned primarily by Norwegian state oil giant Equinor, and would produce more CO2 than the annual emissions of the world’s 28 lowest-income countries combined.

~ The vast majority of its oil will be sold on the international market for export, doing nothing to lower energy bills or increase energy security here in the UK.

~ The pipeline will run through a protected area of the North Sea, damaging this fragile ecosystem (including ancient clams, delicate corals, and rare deep sea sponges). It poses a threat to all sorts of whale, dolphin and seabird species.

Let's protect what we love - the sea that we swim in regularly - and the planet that sustains us all.

~ The project could also send over £250 million towards Delek Group - an Israeli fuel conglomerate that has been flagged by the UN for human rights violations in Palestine.
