Recently, the President announced plans to cut funding to SNAP (a.k.a. food stamps)–which would take away free school lunch from HALF A MILLION kids. Come be part of an important conversation about why we need to protect SNAP and how we can get our elected leaders to speak out on this issue, too.

During this event, we'll share stories and talk about how SNAP helps our city's families, children, schools, and economies thrive. We'll also make a plan to visit elected officials' offices and urge them to sign on to protect SNAP.
