We have developed a community leadership programme for church schools (and other schools) to enable them to work with churches and others from across their communities to act as hubs to welcome Ukrainian refugees across the Diocese. The programme will enable pupils (and staff) to learn more about being citizens both locally and globally, to be able to work together with others and to be agents for change in their communities. The leadership programme will also be age and curriculum appropriate for primary and secondary pupils.

This short online session will introduce the framework of resources and the sessions which will run in schools February - Easter. It will enable you to help lead these community leadership sessions in schools. Schools will then be supported to take action after the Easter break and in May to act as hubs in their communities to welcome Ukrainian refugees.
