Join DSA and our allies for a Meet & Greet in Hyattsville for one of our endorsed candidates for Prince George's County Council, Shayla Adams-Stafford. In a major shift last year, Shayla won the special election for the District 5 seat on County Council.
Since taking office Shayla has made strides towards fighting for working families! Before joining the Council, Shayla fought for community-centered development and uplifted our children on the Prince George’s County School Board. To continue fighting for us, Shayla must re-win her seat on Council!
Election Day is June 23 and the race is coming down to the wire, what we do now determines whether a voice for the people remains on County Council.
Address will be shared after RSVP. This event is a 5 min bus ride or 20 minute walk from the West Hyattsville Metro Station on the Green & Yellow Lines.
