Join us for a SPECIAL Plug In, Speak Up community conversation with Schenectady Police Chief Whipple on Wednesday, April 2 at 6:30 PM at the Karen B. Johnson Library.
This forum is an opportunity for community members to engage directly with local leadership around important issues impacting our neighborhoods, including policing practices, accountability, and the department’s role and interactions with ICE. Together, we aim to create space for transparency, shared understanding, and honest dialogue.
Attendees will hear directly from Chief Whipple, learn about current policies and priorities, and have the opportunity to ask questions, raise concerns, and share experiences. The conversation will also include information on community rights, available resources, and how to navigate the police complaint process.
Whether you have questions, concerns, or simply want to stay informed, your voice is an important part of this conversation.
