Melwood will be presented at the Feb 22 Arlington County Board meeting sometime in the afternoon. Join us at 10:30am-11:451m at For Five Coffee in Courthouse to hang out and then we'll walk over to the County Board room. You can register to speak then, if you'd like.

Melwood is the third Regular Agenda item.

Melwood, a longstanding nonprofit in Arlington that provides jobs, employment training services, and community support for adults with disabilities, owns a building on 23rd Street near Crystal City. They have applied to redevelop the building to add 105 units of Committed Affordable Housing, in a building that will feature accessibility. Their training operations will remain in the new building. Melwood has previously said units will be set aside for people with disabilities. There will be no change to the adjacent Nelly Custis Park.
