If you are excited to get involved in the NYC tenant movement and plug into NYC-DSA's Tenant Organizing Working Group's various projects and committees, this is the meeting for you! All members old and new are encouraged to join and learn about our ongoing work.

This is our monthly meeting where we discuss our organizing in our buildings, neighborhoods, tenant unions, and in DSA. Hear about how you can join our ongoing work in our branches and our newly formed committees: Membership, Campaigns and Research, Trainings & External Organizing, NYCHA Solidarity, and Political Education.

Accessibility information: this space isn’t accessible, but there is only one step to the entrance and the event organizers will be available to assist any wheelchair users. The location is close to several bus stops and is one block away from the Franklin Av. subway stop, which is accessible. For additional accessibility questions and accommodations, email tenants@socialists.nyc.

TOWG organizes monthly tenant circles, tenant organizing trainings, reading groups, and other events. We work to build and strengthen local autonomous tenant networks - this entails supporting comrades throughout the tenant association formation process: organizing meetings, escalating fights, and canvassing neighbors.

Join us to learn how you can turn an issue in your apartment building into durable, independent, working-class organization with your neighbors and fellow tenants across the city!

Want to join the tenant movement? Email tenants@socialists.nyc or fill out our onboarding form.
