Frankie is running for the city council in order to fight for rent control, improve worker's rights in the city, and much needed improvements in public transit. This campaign is more than just about Frankie as a representative -- it's about fighting for political change and representation for residents of Greenbelt on their city council. We have already been talking to our neighbors in Greenbelt we've had a great reception so far.

An organizer in Maryland for over 8 years, Frankie was drawn to Greenbelt by its rich history and culture of cooperation and is a proud member of Greenbelt Homes Incorporated ("GHI), the Coop Supermarket and Pharmacy, and the Greenbelt Cinema. Frankie has organized extensively on labor, environment, housing, and tax justice issues with the Metro DC Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), and served as chair of the Prince George's County and Montgomery County branches.

A first generation college student raised in New Jersey by his grandparents, a United States postal worker and a teaching assistant, Frankie attended the George Washington University and received a Bachelor's of Arts in History with a minor in Sustainability.
