Angry about issues affecting your local community?

Come along to our FREE Introduction to Community Organising taster session and join others from a range of  organisations and communities in exploring how Community Organising could help you make real change in your community.

Across the day we will cover:

• Community Organising as a method for social change
• How and why we build power to win
• How to do relational meetings
• How to identify self-interest
• How to take action on issues you care about
• How to negotiate with decision-makers

You will be trained by experienced Citizens Cymru Wales Senior Organiser Fiona Meldrum who has a wealth of experience organising and winning change with communities in Wales such as the banning of letting agency fees in Wales, the real Living Wage for careworkers, and the award-wining Community Jobs Compact which seeks to overcome employment inequality for young people in Cardiff's southern arc.

Lunch will be provided.
