Join us at Panera for a quick YIMBY catch-up before we head over together to the Duke Street Open House on December 10th! Whether you’ve been a regular at Duke Street meetings or you've never attended one before, this is a great chance to get context, share what we’re excited to learn, and then head to the Open House as a group.

Getting there:
This Panera Bread is located at 3201 Duke Street, in the Alexandria Commons Shopping Mall. It's accessible by bus, bike, and car.

Bus: All of the Duke Street buses stop nearby. All of these lines can be taken from King St Metro Station, and all but the F20 are available along all of Duke Street.
-DASH 30 (free), WMATA F20, F23, & F24: Get off at Alexandria Commons. Walk North 500 feet through the parking lot.

Bike: All routes require on-street riding. No Capital Bikeshare docks are present within 0.5 miles. The start time of this event is after sunset so plan to use lights or any night time safety equipment.

- Northern option: from Janney's Lane (bike lanes), turn onto Yale Rd (quiet road with speed bumps) and ride downhill. Turn right at the Alexandria Commons Shopping Mall; consider taking the service road behind the mall. Bike west past the Giant Food, and a public bike rack is available in front of the Goldfish Swim School - Alexandria. From there walk 200 ft West to the Panera entrance.

- Southern option: from Holmes Run Trail pass through Tarleton Park and connect to S Gordon (sharrows). Take S Gordon to Wheeler (painted lanes and sharrows), turn left, and ride past the police station. Turn right down the drive to the Alexandria fleet services building, through their lot and follow the left fork up the hill, connecting to S Quaker Lane (quiet street). Turn left on S Quaker, right on Colvin (quiet street), and left on Sweeley St. Cross Duke street at the traffic light to get the Alexandria Commons Shopping Mall, and ride into the parking lot. Turn left at the Giant Food entrance, and a public bike rack is available in front of the Goldfish Swim School - Alexandria. From there walk 200 ft West to the Panera entrance.

Car: There's a large, free parking lot.
