We ask that you make a decision as soon as possible so that we can guarentee you a place.

Funding

The cost of the program is $300 USD per participant. The Connecticut Centre for Nonviolence have been very generous in giving us a significantly lower rate to support us.

If you or your project are in the position to give more to support others attending, we are inviting a solidarity rate of $450 USD per participant.

For those unable to cover the cost (please check with your project first as it will greatly benefit them!) we are currently securing some funding to offer full and particial scholarships.

Program

Currently, we are proposing to start the program on Tuesday 28th January and it will run for 10 weeks on a 2 weekly structure, i.e. Weeks 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 will have calls on the same days and times [Tuesdays & Thursdays]; and Weeks 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 will have calls on the same day and times [Thursdays & one other day earlier in the week with your project]

By signing up you will be committing to attend the 10 week course including running an internal workshop every 2 weeks within your project. We recommend where possible that 2-3 people from each project attend so you are able to support each other with this.

Upon booking your place, you will receive a calendar invite with the zoom link to all the sessions.

2 hours plus 10 min for break in the middle
Facilitators: 2-3 trainers from CTCN. Primarily Victoria and John + other visiting trainer

THURSDAY Week 1 PREPARATION SESSION

Facilitators: Jacob from CTCN + people from the Resilient Uprising Kingian team

DAY TBC Week 2 INTERNAL WORKSHOPS
Each project decides the day
Recommended as a 1-2 hours.
Facilitators: The participants who attended two events on week 1

THURSDAY Week 2 DEBRIEF

And so on and so forth throughout the rest of the weeks (weeks 3-10).

Attendence is key! Both for the dynamics of the workshops and the possibility of ask questions! That being said, all meetings will be recorded, so you're covered in the eventuality you miss one or two. We need to get at least 20 people signed up for the program to begin!
