Over the past year and a half we have been working with a group of stellar collaborators, graphic artists, policy wonks and dreamy visionaries to bring our blueprint of an artists works program to life. A People’s WPA builds on the legacies of public service jobs programs of the past (like the original WPA- the Works Progress Administration), while also creating a lens to address past inequities. It’s a path forward, a look back, and a credible vision of a future that centers culture in the fight to build a brighter world.
