The woman Donald Trump nominated to fill Brett Kavanaugh’s former seat on the nation’s second-highest court, Neomi Rao, wrote a string of offensive op-eds during and after college on race, LGBT rights, and -- of all things -- date rape.

In Rao’s own words:

“A good way to avoid a potential date rape is to stay reasonably sober. And if she drinks to the point where she can no longer choose, well, getting to that point was part of her choice.”

“Insult to injury” doesn’t even begin to describe how offensive it is to nominate someone with these views only a few months after the brave testimony of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.

Her language, and the thought-process and biases it exposes, are completely disqualifying for a lifetime appointment to the federal bench. Stand with us and add your name if you agree.
