Add your organisation to the Fight for Five campaign for affordable insulin for all
Across the globe, patients are spending an unsustainable amount for the medicine and supplies they need to simply stay alive. Some people must spend up to 80% or more of their income on insulin and glucose testing supplies alone.
Join T1International and the #insulin4all movement as we raise our voices and Fight for Five. We are advocating globally for a world where the cost of insulin and glucose testing supplies represents no more than 5% of a person’s income.
By signing your organisation on, you are joining our call to action to ask the WHO to ensure that “affordable insulin and blood glucose self-monitoring” in the 5th Global Diabetes Coverage Target is defined as 5% or less of a person’s income.
We presented the initial list of organisations who have signed onto our goal at the WHO Global Diabetes Compact meeting on November 2nd to show the depth and the breadth of support for our Fight for Five campaign.
We are showing the breadth of support for this campaign not only through stories of patients most impacted by lack of affordable and accessible insulin in their home countries, but also by the number of organisations that support a better world for people with diabetes.
By signing on, we will add you to our email list to get updates on the Fight for Five campaign and with other opportunities to take action and to donate. You can unsubscribe at any time. If you have questions before signing on or if there are other ways that you would like to provide support to this campaign, please contact globaladvocacy@t1international.com.
