Call to Community
We can create moments and practices that strengthen community, just by taking a bit of time with those immediately around us to share stories, express care for one another, or think about who we are to each other.
Actively and joyfully building connection with others is an essential part of the work of building a future rooted in interdependence.
The next few weeks of holiday gatherings are a great time to reflect in our communities on why these relationships are so important to us and worth caring for. We hope that you will continue being in conversation with your people long after holiday cheer and itis from eating delicious food wear off.
Recently, we launched the Call to Community while at Facing Race Conference and got some immediate feedback about people's experience of being in community. Whether you were at the conference or not, we want to hear your thoughts about community and/or about your experience with our Call!
For the next couple of Wednesdays, we are inviting people to share their experience and learnings from being in community with their people. If you are interested in joining the conversation, please add your name to the list of attendees by filling out the form.
