We are calling on all community leaders in Ely and the surrounding villages who are interested in making our community safer and more resilient in the face of things like heat waves, water shortages, and other serious disruptions. Working with the East Cambridgeshire Climate Action Network the Climate Majority Project is launching the “Ely SAFER Initiative”, aiming to engage a wider range of people across the Ely area in “Strategic Adaptation for Emergency Resilience” (SAFER).

As a valued community leader, we’re hoping you can help us spread the word about the Ely SAFER Initiative, so we are inviting you to a short online introduction on 23 October - 7.30-8.15 pm to learn more about the Initiative.

It will be a great opportunity for you to:

·       Connect with others in Ely who care about community resilience

·       Help build more local leadership capacity by strengthening existing initiatives in Ely

·       Be part of a growing the SAFER local and national network
