Let's Join Forces!
The next year is going to be critical for our movement. The Trump administration presents unknowns to labor. What will change within key protective agencies? How will policy shift? What will worker organizing look like in this altered landscape?
One thing is certain: we will continue to organize, adapting to whatever comes:
Workers are innovating, organizing in new models outside of NLRB elections, or winning elections as independent, unaffiliated unions.
Amazon workers are in a historic fight to bring Amazon to the table, and new warehouses are being organized right now.
Starbucks workers from over 500 unionized stores are battling for a first contract, at the table and on the picket line.
Other workers, from rock climbing instructors to ski patrollers, tech specialists to booksellers, are winning unions and negotiating contracts.
Across the country and across sectors, we are all fighting for what we deserve: a fair share. The wages, benefits, and safe working conditions we ALL deserve.
Because we all work, whether it’s building pallets in a warehouse, bagging groceries, writing code, or delivering mail. And unionized or not, we all face issues in our workplace that can be solved through collective action and engaging in each others’ fights.
The Labor Force’s mission is to build worker power by supporting fights across labor, and building a conduit for everyone–unionized or not, retired or not, employed or not–to get involved in the movement.
