Nat'l Commission Group Leadership: Intent to Run for Co-Chair

Interested in leading one of the national working groups or committees?

This process invites members to formally declare their intent to run for Co-Chair positions within AFROSOC’s National Commission. Candidates are asked to complete this form in full by Monday, April 13th by 11:59 PDT in order to be in the running for elections. Further details about Commission Group Leadership Elections will be share post-Executive Committee meeting on Tuesday, April 14th at 8:30 PM EDT.




Core Responsibilities:

Nat'l Working Groups + Committees shall have at least one co-chair, who acts as a point person for delegating tasks and coordinating with the Executive Committee and the general membership. Co-chairs shall be identified at the formation of a working group, and shall have a term of one year.

  1. Working group co-chairs are responsible for:

    1. Organizing official channels of communication for all members of the working group;

    2. Organizing regular meetings between members of the working group;

    3. Sharing the decisions and actions of the working group with the general membership.
