National Afrosocialists and Socialists of Color

AfroSocialists and Socialists Of Color Caucus

Welcome Comrades and Cousins!

Founded in 2017, AfroSocialists and Socialists of Color (AfroSoC) is a cross-racial collective building power with and among anti-capitalists, anti-imperialists, and leftists inside and outside of DSA, who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). We pursue this basebuilding – through mutual aid, political education, and organizer training – to bridge and unite a multiracial working class acting in solidarity to end racial capitalism – the only viable strategy for securing a socialist liberatory future.

Our principles include repair, class solidarity, non-sectarianism, anti-oppression, and internationalism.

Grounding our global analyses in the Black radical tradition, our goal is to popularize socialism among BIPOC communities and support them in directly confronting capitalist culture, governance, and industry that drive oppression and worsen their material conditions.
