NO CONTRACT NO COFFEE COMMITMENT FORM
Starbucks Workers United (SBWU) have been in long negotiations with Starbucks Corporate finalizing a contract deal between them that would adequately address Starbucks' workers needs. Except, In their last negotiation of the year, Starbucks Corporate came to workers with a $0.35 raise and did not want to fairly bargain with workers. Now workers are on strike! Over 10,000 workers will be walking out around the United States and are asking the community to support them as they strike through Dec. 25th.
The need for community support is at an all time high. Birmingham DSA is committing and asking our community to join us in taking a stance NO CONTRACT, NO COFFEE. If Starbucks Corporate does not want to meet the demands of the workers then WE the community will not patronize Starbucks.
Financial support is much needed as many local workers are concerned about financial responsibilities that they may not be able to meet by going on strike, if you are able to provide $5, enough for a cup of coffee to help support workers! Sign this form to receive info on how to support!
SBWU has been at the forefront of calling solidarity for all worker class people. They have been outspoken about supporting Palestinian liberation, recognize the necessity for Trans healthcare, and understand the need for an outspoken progressive labor movement.
Sign this form to join us as we generate a growing push for Starbucks to sit down and negotiate in good faith with Starbucks Workers United representatives.
