NY-11 for Health Care

Fill out this form for your organization or union to co-sponsor our "March for Health Care and Against Billionaire Tax Cuts!"

It's taking place on Saturday March 22 starting at 12 noon in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. We'll be gathering in front of the NYU Ambulatory Care Center at 4th Ave. & Senator Street for a brief pep rally, and then march down to Rep. Nicole Malliotakis' office at 3rd Ave. & 77th Streets for a die-in protest.

What it's all about:

Some politicians in Washington are taking steps to drastically cut spending on federal health care programs in order to pay for huge tax cuts for big corporations and billionaires.

No matter what kind of health insurance you and your family have --Medicaid, Medicare, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, or Affordable Care Act-- your coverage is coming under attack. In addition, our hospitals, community health centers, nursing homes, and home care programs will lose the funding they need to serve all of us.

NY-11 Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, who serves Staten Island and southwest Brooklyn in Congress, just cast the deciding vote in Congress for a budget plan that has set this legislative process in motion. We're inviting her to come talk to everyday Staten Islanders about her views on this matter, and to hear from us about what these important federal health care programs mean to us, our families, and our communities.
