Pledge to Vote NO on Question 5
VOTE NO on 5: The Reckless Revenue Cap Ballot Initiative
Backed by wealthy investors and CEOs, the dark-money Massachusetts Opportunity Alliance (MOA) is backing Question 5: a reckless ballot initiative that would impose a strict ‘revenue cap’ on Massachusetts and slash funding for classrooms, hospitals, and first responders across the state. Question 5 would force repeated cuts to state and local public services; lead to layoffs for teachers, nurses, and firefighters; and make healthcare, childcare and housing more expensive. It would give billions to the rich while the rest of us suffer from cuts, and severely limit the state’s ability to recover from recessions. Wealthy investors put Question 5 on the ballot because they don’t need public services themselves. Don't be fooled: vote NO on 5 to protect the programs that make Massachusetts families and communities strong!
