The Birmingham chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), Our Revolution, and Black Lives Matter; SWEET Alabama; Alabama Working Families Party; and Greater Birmingham Ministries have teamed up to organize a canvassing in support of #BAmazonUnion this Saturday, March 6 and Sunday, March 7 from 2-5PM on both days (meet up at RWDSU's hall at 1901 10th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35205).

Amazon's CEO Jeff Bezos has made $79 billion during the pandemic alone. Meanwhile, Amazon's essential workers are treated with disrespect and unfair working conditions. Union jobs mean a better life for our neighbors and a stronger community for us all. That's why we're coming together to show that we have the backs of the workers at the Bessemer warehouse who are fighting to unionize.

We'll be going door-to-door getting petition signatures, keeping supporters in the loop about upcoming events, distributing signs, and taking pictures and videos of #BAmazonUnion backers in the community.
