Where would you like to see trees planted in Sefton?

Here at Sefton Climate Action we want to get more trees planted in the local community and we need your help to identify where these trees could be planted.

Why are we gathering this information?

Sefton Climate Action has been in communication with Mersey Forest and One Vision Housing (OVH) to discuss places where more trees could be planted, as they are keen to plant more trees in Sefton.

Why trees?

Trees are great because they:

  • help provide clean air
  • provide habitats and a source of food for wildlife
  • enhance and improve the local Street scene
  • support the local ecosystem
  • tackle CO2 emissions

We would love you to tell us where you want to see more trees in Sefton and also say if you'd like to get involved in other ways. Please use the form to the right to tell us more.

It might be somewhere that lots of people may know or it might be somewhere less obvious…

Although we can't promise that trees will be planted in the exact spots you suggest it will help highlight to local landowners (such as Sefton Council and One Vision Housing) areas where there is a desire for more trees.
