Thank you for considering donating to the Guelph Renters Union & Housing Advocates (GRUHA) Tenant Solidarity Fund!
GRUHA is a volunteer-run union. None of our members derive a salary or any kind of income from this organization. You can be confident that 100% of your contributions will be used to either support tenants in need or support the operations of GRUHA in the event of surplus.
This fund will be used for the following:
- Protecting Guelph tenants from eviction
- Covering legal fees for tenants whose landlords have summoned them to an eviction hearing
- Small outreach expenses to connect with Guelph tenants in need
It will NOT be used for:
- Salary or any kind of income for any GRUHA member
- Paying money directly to landlords
If you are willing to make a monthly contribution, it will go a long way towards securing a future in which there are no evictions in Guelph, and housing is claimed as a human right for all.
