Generation Ratify is the youth-led movement to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) and push for gender equality in the United States. Our mission is to build a coalition of young people across the country leading an intersectional feminist revolution that empowers and advocates for the full equality of young women and other marginalized genders.
Generation Ratify mobilizes young people across the country to take action to advance gender equality by educating them, empowering them, and advocating with them. This includes running lobbying collectives to bring the youth voice to the halls of power, releasing a 10 volume policy pack outlining Generation Ratify’s intersectional legislative goals, protesting outside of the Republican National Convention, hosting a summit to equip young people with the tools they need to lobby for their rights, and making over one million voter contacts for pro-gender equality candidates on all levels of government. Our most recent initiative is our Rally for Roe campaign. The Supreme Court recently decided to take a case challenging the precedent set by Roe v. Wade, which protects abortion in the first two trimesters, or 24 weeks. The case Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. With our 6:3 conservative majority, this case, regardless of the outcome, will have huge implications on the future of reproductive justice. We must meet this moment with the action and fight it requires. That is why we are rolling out our Rally for Roe campaign– a three-phased, three-month initiative to defend and expand our reproductive freedoms.
