Alabama Appleseed Center for Law & Justice
Montgomery, AL
The Alabama Appleseed Center for Law & Justice is a non-profit, non-partisan organization founded in 1999 to achieve justice and equity for all Alabamians. We create integrated culture and policy change campaigns to remedy the root causes of injustice in our state, particularly at the intersection of systemic poverty and the legal system. Our campaigns use policy analysis, research and documentation, public education, community organizing, pro bono engagement, and litigation. We believe in a better Alabama, and we're fighting for it.
Alabama Appleseed is part of the Appleseed Network, which is comprised of 18 sister centers across the United States and in Mexico City.
