The Coalition to End Plastic Subsidies, is a group of NGOs who believe that plastic subsidies should be put back into the text of the Global Plastics Treaty. We are concerned that plastic subsidies make the price of plastics artificially cheaper, thus incentivising its use. If plastic subsidies are not put back into the International Legally Binding Instrument, then it would be almost impossible to address the issue of plastic subsidies in the future on a global scale.
