Welcome! We are the Effective Altruism Club (EAC)! EAC is building the path of altruism by combining the highest quality evidence with careful reasoning to tackle the world’s most pressing global issues. Through our club, we combine the mind and heart to do the most good with what we have. It is evidenced that everyone will devote 80,000 hours to their career. EA is a research field designed to help you navigate the path to do the most good. Our international community includes chapters at Stanford, UCLA, Caltech, Harvard, Oxford, Berkeley, and Malaysia among hundreds more. We welcome you to join our community!
