The Eid Holiday Coalition is a group of Parents and allies committed to bringing EID to NYS as public holidays.  As Muslim New Yorkers and allies, we know how important Eid holidays are to the Muslim community in New York State. Right now, no Muslim holidays are public holidays in our state. Students cannot celebrate with their families, and working families lose wages when time off is needed to practice their faith. It’s time that our state honors the large and growing community of Muslim New Yorkers by making Eid holidays public holidays!
