Passing Eid Holidays in NYS Schools must happen THIS SESSION! For over a decade, Muslim New Yorkers and allies have worked hard advocating for EID Holidays for NYS, we have gained wide bipartisan appeal and we need your help to get it across the finish THIS SESSION! We know how important Eid holidays are to the Muslim community in New York State. Right now, no Muslim holidays are recognized across our state!

Recognizing Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-al-Adha will create an opportunity for education and dialogue about the importance of the days in schools and beyond. It will also allow families and communities to celebrate together without missing school.

URGE our legislators to prioritize these bills for Eid Holidays in New York State, and ask them to help it get out of committee and up for a vote THIS SESSION!
