Join community members as we demand the County cease its plan to build a new jail that will prolong the suffering and inhumanity of those incarcerated in the county. Instead, we support implementation of support structures and alternatives to incarceration — such as good jobs, education, accountability programs that don't involve incarceration, and treatment for addiction and other mental health conditions — as part of a vision for creating communities of care.
