Kansas Holistic Defenders is a non-profit public defender dedicated to providing high-quality, holistic, client-centered criminal defense services to poor and working class people accused of crimes in Douglas County.

We work to prevent unnecessary and wrongful incarceration, while addressing the root causes of involvement in the legal system.

Holistic Defense means lawyers working as a team with social workers, advocates and the community to ensure our clients have support inside the courtroom and out.
