Did you know that Wyandotte County has NO public defender office? We are the largest county in Kansas without a dedicated public defender office. We can and should do better.
Now is the time to change that - raise your voice and be heard!
On Saturday, January 22 from 2-4 PM, the Kansas Board of indigent Defense Services is meeting at the Kansas City Kansas Community College (7250 State Avenue Kansas City, Kansas 66112) to hear from the community on the question of establishing a public defender office in Wyandotte County. It is important that we show BIDS our community cares about indigent defense!!
