Tired of politics? Us too. We cannot fix the challenges we face with better policies or better politicians alone. We need a better politics. A politics built around the one group we still trust: each other*.

*Only 12% of people say they trust politicians, but 70% of us trust each other.

DEMOCRACY ISN'T WORKING, SO WE'RE BUILDING A NEW ONE

Our House is the new Chartist movement for people-powered democracy. We support communities across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales to build People's Charters: sets of demands and actions for how power and democracy should work, developed locally and connected nationally.

Charters have won people power twice before. In 2027, local charters come together at four National Conventions, and then we campaign to make them real. Find out more at ourhouseuk.org.
