WHO WE ARE
Parents Empowering Parents is a parent led coalition focused on advocating for the rights of children with disabilities and their families. Our group consists of parents, family members, friends and professionals that support our efforts.
WHAT WE DO
We advocate for change that will benefit our families on a statewide level. Our current focus is the Employ Parent Caregiver bill which would extend employment eligibility to parents of minor children with developmental disabilities that are DDA eligible to become paid caregivers by utilizing their children’s personal care benefit.
