Reproductive Access For All KY

This November, Kentuckians will vote on Constitutional Amendment 2. If the amendment passes, it will amend Kentucky's constitution to explicitly exclude the right to abortion in the state.

Kentucky's state Supreme Court has historically interpreted abortion as a constitutionally protected issue of privacy. For this reason, despite the passage of a 'trigger law' that would have banned abortions in Kentucky after the federal Supreme Court overturned Roe vs. Wade in 2022, abortion remains legal, if endangered, in the Kentucky. But that will likely change if Amendment 2 passes.

A lack of abortion access in Kentucky will overwhelmingly affect the health of working class women and their families. While the owning class always has and always will have access to safe abortion—legal or otherwise, working people will have their access further limited, even practically eliminated, if Amendment 2 passes. We can't let this happen. We need Kentuckians to vote No on Amendment 2 because we need reproductive Access for All.
