Before Sean Shaw made history as the first Black nominee for Attorney General in Florida, he served the people of Hillsborough County in the Florida Legislature, and began his public service working to protect consumers from price-gouging and insurance fraud as the Insurance Consumer Advocate for former Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink.
