UDTJ

We are a local nonprofit organization based in Delaware County, PA fighting for Black lives, justice, and equality for all! UDTJ stands for our 4 core principles: Understanding, Devotion, Take Action, and Justice. UDTJ formed in late May 2020 after the murder of George Floyd. Since then, we have been working towards bettering our community by conducting research to promote changes on police policies, organizing protests and marches to highlight social injustices, annually organizing Delaware County's Pride Festival to provide comfort for the LGBTQ+ community, launching a Holiday Assistance Program to serve families in need during the holiday season, hosting a monthly outreach for the unhoused, and much more! We are currently fighting for justice for the recent victims, 22-year old Shawn Morcho and a 34-year old woman, who died by suicide in Yeadon Police custody in the midst of mental health crises in July and November of 2022. More information on UDTJ can be found on our website: https://udtj.org.
