UMich Advocates prioritizes a stakeholder-driven approach, ensuring that resources and decision-making power are distributed to student councils, clubs, and organizations rather than centralized within CSG. We advocate for direct funding to student initiatives, collaborations with alumni, non-profits, and local businesses, and localized leadership to address community-specific needs. We focus on a plethora of issues, such as housing affordability, mental health services, campus safety, free speech, and student employment protections, all designed to remove administrative barriers and give students real control over their university experience.
