Recent intel shows that the U.S. House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) as early as this week (timed to precede the 4th of July), with the Senate vote to follow shortly afterwards. The NDAA, if passed, would increase the Pentagon budget to $1.5 Trillion, and includes a dangerous proposal to merge key military infrastructure with the Israeli army. This would only serve to put us on a disastrous path towards endless war, countless more innocent lives lost, and an even deeper complicity with Israeli war crimes and genocide.

This action alert is following the new UN Official Report dated 6/18/2026, from the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel:

“The essence of childhood has been destroyed”: Israel’s deliberate targeting of Palestinian children in the Occupied Palestinian Territory since 7 October 2023 – Report (A/HRC/62/CRP.2)

This report "examines violations and crimes against and affecting Palestinian children, including serious physical and psychological harm by the Israeli security forces since 7 October 2023 resulting in the death of at least 20,179 and injury of 44,143 children."


Considering the evidence from this report, and the many other precedents of evidence and investigations into Israeli war crimes, we are calling on Congress to Publicly commit to voting NO on the NDAA unless it is significantly reduced below last year's, and unless the merging of the U.S. and Israeli militaries (section 219 in House and 1217 in Senate) is removed.
