Support Affordable Housing in West Hollywood!

1000 N La Brea is a real chance to meet the housing needs of West Hollywood residents.

Replacing an old cement plant, the project makes the most of an underused lot: 30,000 square feet for a new grocery store, a revitalized corner of La Brea that will serve as a public plaza, and large screen ad displays that will help fund additional affordable housing on site and citywide.

The project brings over 500 new homes to the neighborhood, with 25% set aside as deed restricted affordable housing — a major step towards the city meeting its Regional Housing Needs Assessment (RHNA) requirements.

That's more than just a number. It means more working families and people in West Hollywood will have affordable housing and the chance to grow within the community.

It's a big proposal, and the payoff for affordability is even bigger.
