City Council Attorney Allan Wade, who is not elected by the people, has been tasked to consolidate OUR police accountability ordinances into one. The result, titled the “Tyre Nichols Justice in Policing Ordinance”, does not include any of our demands nor would it have kept Tyre Nichols alive. Email your City Councilors and let them know our demands are still the same and Allan Wade’s ordinance doesn’t make the cut.
