Senate Bill SB2, Paid Family & Medical Leave
will enable families to care for their loved ones, including:

  • A biological child, foster child, stepchild, or legal ward

  • A family member in the Armed Forces

  • Grandparents, grandchild, or sibling as well as a domestic partner


Employer and employee put aside a contribution each month.

These monies are placed in a trust fund managed by the state's VEC.
