Help us welcome the new Connecticut Insurance Commissioner!

Josh Hershman has just been appointed as the new CID Commissioner. We are looking forward to working with him on issues around the insurance industry and their ties to fossil fuels.

Overwhelmingly, we have seen insurance commissioners around the country chose to abdicate their public duty in order to rewrite rules to favor insurance companies, leading to historic industry profits and CEO pay and a trillion dollar industry surplus, while stripping people’s access to the judicial system, spiking rates, and denying coverage to millions of Americans.

Here in Connecticut, we must set the tone and make sure that we move the industry towards a just clean energy transition.

Send Commissioner Hershman a letter letting him know that we are counting on him to be our watchdog who holds the industry to account.
