Insurance companies are seeking rate hikes averaging 20% on individual health plans, and increases averaging 14% for small group plans.  The Connecticut Insurance Department (CID) will be holding a hearing on these requests, and the public may submit testimony or speak at the hearing.

The hearing is slated for 9 am next Monday, August 15th. The public may submit testimony, or testify that day and ask questions, in person at the Legislative Office Building, or remotely or via Zoom.
